Training is moving along at a steady pace. I have yet to see any of the touted real life improvements of completing the DNB exercises, but I consider the areas of those improvements to be extremely valuable. Fluid intelligence is much harder to alter as compared to crystallized intelligence, so even a small boost is welcome. Reading comprehension is also extremely useful.
I'm only doing 5 days a week 20 minutes (or more) a day, so I hope that I am not doing it wrong. Currently I'm using the subconscious method, but I must frequently stop my brain from subvocalizing. It is an enormous shame that we are all taught to memorize things in this way; by repeating things in our head until we remember them fully. One could almost liken memorization in school to junk food, because the best memorization techniques are like brussels sprouts and liver to most people.
I am on my third consecutive week of training, so I may yet see improvement over time. I hope that everyone else's training goes well.
